Body composition analysis is a safe and non-invasive method of assessing body components divided into adipose tissue, lean body mass or water. The measurement is based on the transmission of weak electrical pulses through the body, which are sent by electrodes on the surface of the analyzer. The method uses the electrical resistance of tissues, i.e. impedance. Low-hydrated adipose tissue exhibits high resistance in contrast to well-hydrated muscle tissue.
We do not perform tests only in pregnant women and in people with pacemakers and metal implants.
