What does the cooperation with dietitian look like?

We start our cooperation with an initial consultation during which we conduct a nutritional and health interview to collect the necessary information about your lifestyle, health, everyday nutrition and taste preferences. We measure height, weight and analyze body composition. We measure body circumference (waist, abdomen, hips). We analyze the results of blood and / or urine tests to adjust the diet to your health condition. We analyze the current diet. We define the goal of the diet and the estimated time to achieve the goal. During this visit, we make a second appointment with a diet on which the nutritional plan is passed.

During the second visit, we provide and discuss your individual nutritional plan for 7 or 14 days. We provide tips on modifying the menu and teach how to compose a diet on your own. On this visit, we discuss specific dietary recommendations. The provided nutritional plan is in the form of a set of materials with an action strategy, individually set menu, detailed recipes with a list of ingredients presented in home measures, tips for modification and nutritional recommendations.

Every 3-6 weeks we meet for follow-up visits to monitor progress and clarify any doubts. We evaluate changes in body composition. For it (or just after it), we prepare new menus, which we provide during the visit or send by e-mail. The time to prepare a new menu is up to 10 working days according to the Regulations of the MonVita Diet Center.

How should I prepare for the visit?

Before the initial visit, please make a note of the diet for the selected 3 days. The template to be completed can be downloaded here. We also send it by e-mail after registering for the first visit.

During visits, we perform a body composition test. To make the measurement as accurate and reliable as possible:

→ it is best to be on an empty stomach during morning visits, and at least 3 hours after the last meal in the afternoon,
→ on the day of the examination, do not drink coffee, strong black tea, alcohol, energy drinks and use diuretics,
→ one day before the examination, it is best not to engage in increased physical activity.

Very helpful for dietitian is preparing the list of disliked products.

What laboratory tests should be performed?

For the first visit (if you have one), it is worth taking with you the current biochemical test results: blood count, electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium), glucose, lipid profile (total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol) , triglycerides, uric acid, TSH and liver enzymes (ALT, AST). In the case of chronic diseases, it is also worth preparing a list of medications used. This will make it easier for us to assess the health condition and adjust the diet to the body’s needs.

After what time will I receive the diet?

In order for the diet to take into account all your needs, the results of laboratory tests, taste preferences, culinary skills, it is adapted to your daily rhythm and the nature of work, we need up to 10 working days from the first meeting to prepare it.

What is body composition analysis and is it safe?

Body composition analysis is a safe and non-invasive method of assessing body components divided into adipose tissue, lean body mass or water. The measurement is based on the transmission of weak electrical pulses through the body, which are sent by electrodes on the surface of the analyzer. The method uses the electrical resistance of tissues, i.e. impedance. Low-hydrated adipose tissue exhibits high resistance in contrast to well-hydrated muscle tissue.
We do not perform tests only in pregnant women and in people with pacemakers and metal implants.

Will the diet be difficult to implement?

We make sure that the nutritional recommendations are simple to implement, transparent and functional in everyday life. We implement nutritional plans based on practical solutions, without unnecessary counting calories, weighing products and the need to constantly adhere to rigid slimming diets. We set certain limits, but we try not to close them. We prefer seasonal products, we recommend dishes that are easy to prepare, prepared every few days and menus tailored to the preferences of the whole family.

How quickly will I reach my goal?

In order for the weight reduction process to be safe for your health, the weight loss rate should not be higher than 2-4 kg per month. The speed of achieving the goal may also depend on the accompanying disorders, health condition and your commitment. Coming to your dream figure is a process – a process to which your body must adapt, which lasts and consists not only in losing kilograms, but also in reevaluating the way of thinking – about a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle or taking care of yourself in general.
